  • Dear Bro. Schmidt
Just want you to know that I am praying for you in Benton, Kentucky. I am Anthony King’s mother and my grandson Thatcher King is in your youth group at Lancaster Baptist. When I was a member at LBC a few years ago and every time I come out and visit my son and family, you and your family have always been a blessing to me. Anthony and Thatcher had shared with me about you recently being diagnosed with cancer. I have been reading your website and keeping up with your wonderful testimony of Our Lord. It is an encouragement to all who read it. Especially for me right now. I have a very good friend Beverly Thweatt here in Kentucky, who was diagnosed 2 yrs ago with AML (Leukemia), she had a bone marrow transplant, all was successful for the 2yrs. Then on September 1 of this year she went to Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tn for a routine check up. Leukemia was back. After a few weeks Vanderbilt told her to go home and get her affairs in order and that she had at best 3months to live. My friend Beverly and her family are Christians, and she knows that she has a home in heaven. She still has a 14yr old son at home, and through much pray she has made a decision to go to Seattle for treatment. The last couple of weeks she did go to Seattle and MD Anderson in Texas for evaluation. This weekend they will fly to Seattle to start treatment on Monday. Like you she has praised The Lord through it all. Whatever happens, she says I know God is in control and He knows what is best. I am giving her your website so your amazing testimony can encourage for the days ahead. Thank you Bro. Schmidt you are a wonderful blessing to my son and his family in Lancaster and to me here in Kentucky and now I can share this with my Dear Friend Beverly. Thank you for your ministry in Our Loving Lord’s Name.

    In Christ’s Love

    Diane King
